Rusty & Vickie McCord, Owners

Rusty McCord served the community of Englewood as a first responder for 26 years. He started as a firefighter and advanced his career to lieutenant then Battalion chief and finishing his career as assistant chief of the Englewood Fire Department.

During his time as a fireman, Rusty served as a fire inspector and arson investigator and developed a sense for attention to detail and problem solving. He has an associate’s degree in Fire Science. Prior to becoming a firefighter, he worked in construction for 11 years. He is very handy around the house.

Vickie McCord brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to At Your Service Home Watch. She has many years of cleaning experience and at one time owned her own cleaning business. She has worked in the medical field serving her community of over 25 years. First, as a medical assistant and then decided to further her career and go back to school. She attended Keiser University where she received an associate’s degree in Nursing. She is currently working as an RN in the community.

Rusty and Vickie also have vacation rental property and understand what it takes to maintain a home.  Their vacation rental is currently being rented through VRBO and they maintain it and clean it between guests. They treat their guests like family by keeping the home clean and well maintained. They consistently receive 5-star reviews from their guests.

On a personal note, Rusty and Vickie met in high school and have been married for 36 years. They have 3 grown children.  Sons Rusty Jr. and Steven have followed in their father’s footsteps and are Fireman. Daughter Heather entered the medical field and is an X-ray Technician. They are the proud grandparents to 6 grandchildren.
